Grand Sentinel Hoax

Astounding new photographic evidence reveals "grand" conspiracy!!

It's sad but true - when the tabloids get hold of this photo it's bound to get messy! The actual scale of the Grand Sentinel has been revealed by this photo taken last fall.  Mr. Burgess (the man on the left) had hung his jacket on it while putting on his harness, and only recognized the formation after he'd scraped his boots off on the bottom of it. We can only speculate that sensational earlier images of "climbers" on the so-called "Grand Sentinel" were in fact carefully staged photos with tiny little climber dolls. One of those "staged" photos has even appeared on a brochure produced for the Alpine Club of Canada. There's no telling how many may be implicated in this!! It's likely that this elaborate scam has been perpetrated in an attempt to increase tourism, through promoting this insignificant little backscratcher as a natural wonder. We're all aware of the major decline in tourism in the Bow Valley in recent years...
