Beginner's Ice-Climbing Weekend - Choppers 2003

February 28 - March 2, 2003

Each year the Saskatchewan Section organizes an ice-climbing trip for people who want to find out what the sport is like.  This year, around 15 climbers, many of them relative newcomers to the sport, congregated at 2 O'Clock Falls and Balfour Wall, both in the Saskatchewan River Crossing area on the Icefields Parkway.  The following pictures record some of the activities of that weekend.  All pictures are thumbnail images.  Click on the image for a full-sized view.
